Hi all,I am planning to upload a part creation template as an external file and one of the parameters which has been decided is the Site. This is not in the .csv upload, but rather in the assistant.Is it possible to put multiple values into the parameter in order to facilitate multiple external file transactions like the following?ie. Site = SITE1;SITE2;SITE3

Is there a secret to using User Defined Target Fields in Data Migration Manager? I’ve created the fields but they’re not showing up anywhere. Is this another bug?

While working on migrating data out of IFS, we have noticed that ProjectTransactionSeq does not seem to be indexed in Apps10 UPD20. Is there some reason for excluding this key value from being indexed?Or is the idea to use some other value that is actually indexed?P.S. We are on Managed Cloud Services, so supported by the IFS Cloud.

In cloud version, cannot create data migration job for custom view. Returning “custom lu views are not supported” error. Any idea?

I am trying to create a migration job to migrate custom data from our Apps 10 system to our new CLOUD system.  I have set up a number of migration jobs for custom field in Apps 10 and I tried to replicate it in CLOUD, but it did not work. I am trying to find instructions for CLOUD.  Does anyone have instructions for CLOUD.

Dear all,we are setting up our new PSO environment on ifs-cloud 24.2.2 and want to insert several thousands of customers with their names, adresses and contact information via REST-API calls.Currently we can successfully create the customer via REST-API “…/CustomerHandling.svc/CustomerInfoSet”.How can we add the communication-information via REST (the endpoint …/CustomerInfoContactEntity.svc/CustomerInfoContactSet seems not to be active)?How can we add the Address-information via REST (the endpoint …/CustomerInfoAddressEntity.svc/CustomerInfoAddressSet seems not to be active)?The json structure to POST this data seems to be correct.Best regardsMichael

I’m trying to migrate some inventory locations into IFS Cloud but seem to come across one issue. But, I can’t figure for the life of my see why it’s happening.  This is the error that I’m getting, but every other location with the same location group is working fine. Has anyone else seen this issue and found a solution?

We found and issue while attempting to migrate PROD_STRUCTURE rows using the Data Migration Manager.In essence, once we reach the Deployment Container screen and when we click on Deploy, nothing gets deployed. Even worse, there is no error message or anything to indicate if the deployment failed or something else is preventing the action to complete.Because a video is easier to show this condition I uploaded this video on YouTube so you can see what exactly is going on. https://youtu.be/5z6YtX-Cz4sAny idea as to what could be happening?

Hello all, I’m trying to upload some data into IFS Cloud CFG and have come across an error message that I can’t figure out the cause of.  It says the following:ORA-20124: Error.NULLVALUE: Field [MAPPING_TYPE] is mandatory for Payment Address and requires a value. If any of you have come across this before and found a solution, your help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a Basic Data Table called COMPANY_FINANCE. One of the fields is CURRENCY_CODE and it is validated against an environment we have called STG. When I validate basic data on COMPANY_FINANCE I get an “Error, Basic Data” message and upon inspection I see that “ISO_CURRENCY validation failed, basic data target table cannot be found” The ISO_CURRENCY table on STG does have a value for USD… so it should NOT fail…

I have a question about the Additional Deployment Process functionality in Data Migration Manager projects. In short, is the functionality even implemented correctly in 24R2 or am I wasting my time in trying to get this to work? I’m trying to migrate the EQUIPMENT_SERIAL object and eventually update the hierarchy. For performance reasons, the EQUIPMENT_OBJECT_SEQ field is auto generated and in the hierarchy, based on the SUP_CONTRACT and SUP_MCH_CODE fields, the FUNCTIONAL_OBJECT_SEQ (others also) is updated. Thought I could implement a Pre Deployment process of type UpdateMissingKeys to retrieve the Sequence from the database but it’s not working. The SQL that I would guess would be generated as the basis of the deployment would be the following using the EQUIPMENT_OBJECT_API.GET_EQUIPMENT_OBJECT_SEQ method as the basis to get the key. The SQL works so I’m guessing that DMM in 24R2 is completely foobared.SELECT  src.DATA1 AS CONTRACT,        src.DATA2 AS MC

Hi IFS Community!Upon running the Excel-Add In for Data Migrations on IFS Cloud for a specific job in Production, we get "Unexpected end of JSON file" with no further information as to why this is happening.We migrated the same data to a different environment last week (CFG) with NO errors whatsoever, so we know that the data we are migrating is not the issue.We checked permissions for the user running the migration and it all looks fine as well. Any ideas what could be causing it?

Hi,After generated new Manifest for IFS Cloud 24R2SU1 i have this message on Excel Migration Jobs, Created in a earlier release of IFS Cloud in Excel  when I select the Migration Job and select Load:“Please load a migration job to sheet appear in IFS 24R2SU1”It have the selected migration job, ref. logs”12:23 - Getting Migration Jobs”, but it does not open it in new Excel Sheet.How can I avoid this and use existing Excel Migrations Jobs?/Geir
