Data Migration

We have our Customer Order Confirmations printing through Crystal Reports. We recently set up a new site. These reports are not showing any information for the new site when we print a confirmation. Is there something in IFS I could be missing for the site set up? Or is there a spot in IFS that tells Crystal which site’s are allowed for this? I looked at the crystal report file itself and it doesn’t seem to be doing anything with the site.

I am using the command_sys.mail command and passing a string which has 3 usernames as follows:but when I look in application message it has only passing 1 email address, am I doing something wrong ?

Hi,I’ve used Excel Data Migration Tool before. But now I got this problem that when I try Validate or Execute, Excel-Add-In reads everything to the first column. I have a simple example with 2 columns A and B. But Excel-Add-In reads both column A and B to the first column. So the value for column A is getting to long and the value for column B is left empty.Is there some configuration for this. Thankful for ideas.BR,Patric 

Trying to use an External File to migrate a Trial Balance (GL Transactions) from the legacy system to the new Cloud IFS solution.  File conforms to the STDVOU template with semi-colon separated values all matching the individual fields.  We have several different IFS Cloud environments at the moment (since we are in Implementation Phase), but none of them accepts an STDVOU type file and fails with the following Oracle error message:ORA-20115: ExtLoadIdStorage.The "Ext Load Id Storage" has already been removed by another user.Anyone got any ideas?…  we have already been successful in loading External Files using different Templates (ExtFAObjectImport for example), so doesn’t seem to be a generic issue with the environment as such...

Hello All. I have some data in a flat file where columns A to C are header information and columns D to G represent line information.  Is it possible to use a master/detail migration on this data to import it into IFS as a header and associated lines without manipulating the data further? The data will come from an external system regularly so minimal manual processing of the data is a requirement.  Has anyone done this before and are you able to share the setup/config you have in the migration jobs?

I have a customer who is implementing IFS Cloud 23R1.  Their question: Is there a list of all possible data objects along with their dependencies? For example:  To migrate Shop Orders into IFS, you must first have migrated Inventory Part, Routing, Product Structure, Work Guideline data objects from your source system(s) into IFS.  

I am trying to migrate a small customer file (only 4 records for testing) and am getting the following error:  Failed to initialize job ORA-20110: IntfaceDetail.NODET: No details found for HMH_CUSTOMER_INFO Any ideas out there?THanks,Stephanie

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the Excel Plugin to access multiple data bases?I have a customer who want to be able to update both test and Prod.Not both at the same time, but be able to switch between the two. 

My data migration job keeps hanging when ran without CHECKOPTION. It eventually errors with the following message: Error occurred while calling  ../main/admin/plsqlgateway/AccessPlsql/Invoke?frmIntfaceStart. Please contact your system administrator. Error 502 - Bad Gateway   Has anyone come across this before and if so, could you please point me in the right directions.

I am working with the Smart Data Manager and I receive the following error when I try and add the COMPANY_INVOICE_INFO Target Table to the Project’s Basic Data Migration object:  If the Image doesn’t come through it says Target COMPANY_INVOICE_INFO cannot be added to the Basic Data Container.  I haven’t had any issues with other tables so far, so I am trying to see if anyone has come across this before.  I do have a ticket open with support, but I thought the nice people here might have some ideas too!  :) Thanks!Jay

Hi, Please could you assist me, we have a factory at work, and we need to be able to display statistics on screens, (multiple screens) without using separate log ins. We don’t need any access to anything other than the data for the lobby view. Is this possible please?

When migrating project, I want to make use of the Project ID Generation Rules. I leave the project ID in the migrate source job blank, category 1 is filled, Generation rules have been set up for given category 1. All other values are catch all.Still nothing happens when running the migration. So I was wondering which API to call to set the api in the defaul value of the project id, so it would generate the id when migration job runs.Anyone an idea which api to call? I would prefer to know the parameters as well, although less important for now.BTW: rule works perfect when entering a project via the project definition form

Hi,In APPS10, we’re getting this error when trying to perform an inventory movement. Upon checking the inventory location, it appears that it’s because Bay Route Order, Row Route Order and Tier Route Order are NULL.This is odd as the location’s Bay ID, Row ID and Tier ID are populated so I would expect the route orders to have the same value.Bay ID, Row ID, Tier IDBay Route Order, Row Route Order, Tier Route OrderI’m not able to use a migration job to populate these fields as they’re not stored values. Is there a way to almost refresh/re-execute the package methods to update the route order fields with the correct values? The packages used for these fields are:&AO.Warehouse_Bay_API.Get_Route_Order, &AO.Warehouse_Bay_Row_API.Get_Route_Order and &AO.Warehouse_Bay_Tier_API.Get_Route_OrderThis seems to be happening to quite a lot of inventory location records. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,In the sale quotation, there is a State field and a Status field. The State field corresponds to CLOSED_STATUS/CLOSED_STATUS_DB in the database.accepted values : won / lost / no decision / nullI can't find the Status information in the database, and I need it for data migration.Does anyone have any information on this subject?

I'd like to know how to register new customer order headers and line items in the same migration job.I have tried this and confirmed that adding CUSTOMER_ORDER and CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE to the "Method List" tab allows me to update them all at once. However, when I try to insert both the header and line items, I get the error "DEVELOPER_ERROR_03: Most likely a usage definition is wrongly defined for LU: [CustomerOrder] in table RM_ACC_USAGE_TAB, internal exception: [Ex_Get_Id]."  

 I have created a migration job which is used to migrate data into some custom fields in a core table. this included some reference fields as well. I have mapped the objkey for those reference fields and everything seems ok. But when I execute the job, core method get executed and during the execution of the customer method I get the below error. any idea on this ?"ORA-20105: Message.ATTRNOTFOUND: Attribute "SQL" does not exist in message "..."”  

HiI have connected to our PROD environment via Oracle Database in Excel but I can’t seem to find the correct views.I have searched within the folders listed but unable to see INVENTORY_PART view for example.Is is possible to query these views in Excel? 

Hello,My name is Tomek and we’re starting to implement IFS Cloud 25R1 at my company.Please check  whether it works for you.I have a migration task with data export to a file in the OnServer directory. The directory was created in Windows and as an Oracle directory. It also has an archive subdirectory (Windows and Oracle). In the migration task rules, I have the FILEBKP rule active, pointing to the Oracle directory (archive)After the task is completed, a file named file.txt should be created in the destination directory (and this works), and according to the rule, a backup file named file*.bkp should be created in the Archive directory. However, this file is not being created. FILEBKP is enabled in the Default Rules.This works very well in IFS8, but not in IFS Cloud.What could be the cause of this?Thank youTomek   

I want to know how to get the Sales Price List by API. When registering a Customer Orders in the migration job, I want to use the API to retrieve the sales price from the sales price list. Because the migration job does not appear to be referencing the sales price list.

Dear All, we want to use the Excel Addin as Transport Tool to Create or Update Customer Order / Sales Quotation Lines. Now when we use the Excel Add In we have to do the following Steps:1.Open Excel 2 .Open Excel Addin and Login 3. Choose the Migration Job 4. A Popup Window if we want to Load in Same Sheet or in a new SheetWith these 4 Steps we have then the data entry Colums and van work with Search, Validation an Execution.We want to get rid of the Steps 3 and 4. Furthermore we want to Save an Excel with the alrady loaded Data Entry Colums and already Choosen Data Migration Job.  Has anybody an idea if it it possible to do so? As an Alternative we would like to Automate the steps.Any Ideas? Thanks Stefan

Good morning everyone, I post this topic cause after many hours of research I can’t find a solution about using an API.Here is my problem :  I have to build an flow for make an insertion of data in IFS DB.I did it on the application and use the debug window for see what kind of API is called. After analyse, I see this :   I understood the parameters are checked in the FndTempsLobs API which is genering a LobID and this LobID is the payload of the PickSelected API. My question is : How can I give the inforamtion PICK_LIST_NO, SOURCE_REF1, QTY_TO_PICK, etc… to the FndTempsLobs API ? The documentation show us the only payload is CreatedByModule :  My 2nd question is : The LobID generated contains the previous information ?  Thx a lot for your help and sorry if my explication are confused.  

Hello,I am trying to migrate the work location for the emplyee file. I tried it via template EmployeeWorkLocation, but I didn’t manage. The two-step job works fine, but the field “work location” is empty.I am using the Cloud version 22R1I appreciate any help on the subject!Kind regards,Aleksandra
