Data Migration

Is there anyone here that uses IFS and connects it to Salesforce? I have so many questions about this integration and why certain fields don’t map as expected. We are using the Address Type in IFS to map to certain fields in Salesforce based on the Default Address value, but certain records aren’t getting updated as they should. I did notice that some records in Salesforce don't have the document address populated if the Latitude and Longitude in Salesforce doesn’t match IFS but that doesn’t seem to be consistent enough to me. Thoughts on this anyone?

Hi,I am using Data Migration Manager.An error message is generating in the Deployment Container:Template: CUST_ORD_CUSTOMER_ENTError: Field [RECEIVE_PACK_SIZE_CHG] is mandatory for Customer and requires a value.RECEIVE_PACK_SIZE_CHG is not in the Target Table Definition, but RECEIVE_PACK_SIZE_CHG_DB is.RECEIVE_PACK_SIZE_CHG_DB is not mandatory.Has anyone previously come across this and found a resolution?

I get this error while running post deployment for CONFIG_PART_SPEC_REV. The post deployment is to update STATE from TENTATIVE to RELEASED.  error message: “IFS Web Version: 24.1.19.20251203093724.0Date: 2026-01-22T23:10:12.216Z---------------------------------------------------------------------------DeploymentContainer/Form (server error)Database error occurred. When using the 'Data Migration Tool' to deploy to an output container, sometimes I get the error "Base data target table not found" and sometimes I don't.There is no difference in the settings.Please tell me how to stop the "target table check". 1. When not checking 2.When checking“WAREHOUSE_BAY_TIER validation failed, basic data target table cannot be found” error

Hi All,We are using apps 10 and need to Migrate Inventory Parts with revisions set at 2 or higher. When we tested this the migration worked however in each case it created a Revision 1 as well as the revision we wanted. As an example we migrated a Part with revision 5, and it created a revision 1 and a revision 5.Is there a way to overcome this and only have the revisions required. Thanks and Merry Christmas

The customer environments had been upgraded from 25.1 (unknown SU) to 25.2.3.I was going to import a migration job that was previously used in the project and imported several times without problems. The import was done using the standard job FNDMIG_IMPORT and suddenly it went wrong with error message ""The uploaded CSV is malformed". Investigation showed that the export file for the migration job contained the character ", a double quote, which caused the issue.The double quotation was used to restore a text, where double quotation had been replaced by something else in the data export. The double quote was replaced by CHR(34) and then the job was imported successfully.

Hi When updating from 23R2SU4 to 24R1SU2, all of the permissions for the projection of '~MigJobHandling', which is the permissions of the migration job, were revoked. Has anyone else experienced the same problem?・Why are permission revoked when Release Update is applied?・What is the workaround?

While working on migrating data out of IFS, we have noticed that ProjectTransactionSeq does not seem to be indexed in Apps10 UPD20. Is there some reason for excluding this key value from being indexed?Or is the idea to use some other value that is actually indexed?P.S. We are on Managed Cloud Services, so supported by the IFS Cloud. 

We’re implementing our first FIFO site in IFS and trying to migrate the actual Received Dates for their raw material inventory.  Seems IFS wants to always set these to the import date and not the actual date value.  Anyone faced this or have a workaround?

Hello,I have created successfully a set of migration jobs to create users.Hopefully, the following system parameter is active :The only point which resist is the following : I’d like to automate with another Migration job, the activation of the first login. Making the automate password  as “ to change on the 1st login” is OK, but presently, the user/password fail! Thanks for your help

We are working on an effort to implement the India GET Functionality. To implement this new functionality we need to create a new Company/Site. We will be migrating from one site to another. As we work through all transactions, we have an issue regarding our open inter-site Purchase Orders > Customer Orders.Specifically:We have Intersite Purchase Orders (our India site 1300) to one of our internal Supplier: 10 where the connected Customer Order is on Site 10.When we migrate the Purchase Orders (from site 1300 to the new site with India Get: 1301) we are looking for a way/best practice to reconnect them to the existing Customer Orders in Site 10.Product Version: 24.2.6We have close to 4,000 open Inter-Site PO Lines that will need to be migrated to the new site. And are looking for the best way to update all of them in mass.

Hello everyone,We recently migrated to IFS Cloud 25R2 (SU6) and noticed a change in the format of the "ActualShipDate" field in the Dispatch Advice messages (DESADV) we send.Before migration:"ActualShipDate": "2026-07-17T16:04:55" (local timestamp, no timezone indicator)Since the migration to 25R2:"ActualShipDate": "2026-07-20T10:29:20Z" (UTC timestamp, with "Z" suffix) This is causing issues on the receiving side, which expects the previous format without the UTC indicator.Has anyone else run into this on Dispatch Advice (DESADV), or on other outbound messages? In the migration job function, I am getting the following error in EXCEL_MIGRATION for “CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE” view.I have confirmed that deleting some columns in the source mapping tab resolves the error, but do you know of a way to resolve this without deleting them?- IFS Cloud 25R1
