Hi All, From where can I find IFS Cloud 22R1 Template Project file for Data Migration Manager?  I am new to Data Migration Manager and my idea is to create a Project Template and load a pre-built Template file copied into DM server location , drill down into details of the project and understand how it is set up instead of creating a Data Migration Project from scratch.

Hi Evevybody, We prepare de data migration job to add some project activities. Table is ACTIVITY and a key field is ACTIVITY_SEQ. is it possible to call activity_seq.nextval to init this field ?I test but without success. When I initialize with a numeric value it works but I will prefer use sequence.Regards, Christophe

Hi All,Is there a way to get access to Data Migration Server folder in Build Place DEV Environment?I know this is a short lived environment but there should be a way to access Data Migration database server folder in DEV(Build Place) so that customer can do data migration tests in several iterations and delete data whenever they require. 

When I tried to create a migration job from what’s available on DEV and save, I get the above error message. Can someone advise?  

I am using FSM with a SQL database and wish to produce a new Test DB from my existing PROD DB. I have tried restoring a backup of the Prod DB to the test DB and this doesn't work as it says DB not available. I have tried doing and export from the Prod DB to the Test DB but I get an error about writing to a read only table. Does anyone have any advice?

Is there a way to change the status of a record created using a migration job? When creating a record it is always created in ‘Preliminary’ Statusex- Create a Customer Order with status ‘Released’ or Create PM Action with status ‘Active’ using a migration job

i want to create a migration job  using a method  ,that method name define two times in a package.ex, Create_Purchase_Order  method define in Purchase_Order_Api , one has 6 parameter and other one has more than 6 parameters .I'm using the method with 6 parameters, but when i try to execute the migration job getting following errors, any idea how to use these type of method in migration jobs?attached images.

Hello everyone,When I want to create Target Table Definition in Smart Data Manager, I have this error when I select the option: "From Template Project":On the other hand, no problem with the "Master Environment" option.Did I forget something in my project settings? For your information, I made all the elements I was interested in "In Scope" in the "Migration object scope" tab.Thanks in advance!

After the initial installation it appears that there are migration jobs (at least the interface headers) available. I'm not able to delete them as there is no detail available so they only confuse the customer.List is shown as follows:I gave myself update access to the job.When searching via the page Migration Job (so not Jobs), I don't see it. If I try to add it, IFS returns the error message that the interface already exists.Any idea how to get rid of these jobs?

What’s the best way to migrate basic data between environments in IFSCloud? 

HiMy customer has installed IFS Cloud on-premise and is using Excel version - Windows Excel : 16.0.5317.1000. The customer has successfully installed the Excel Add In and the Excel IFS icon appears on the excel. But when the customer launches it nothing happens.Just to test in the same laptop we tried installing Office 365 excel and the IFS Excel plugin successfully launched. But is not working with the excel version the customer is using. The customer has no plans to update the excel version and is asking how to make the excel plugin work with the current version.Has anyone of you experienced this issue ? Is there any possibility the customer can launch the excel plugin with the version of excel the customer has.Thank you in advance. RegardsSumit ROY

Hi All,I have granted access to the Execute Job for one of permission set in the application. Now the users who has assigned to the particular role can see the window. But uses try to populate the records, it says "No Record Found"I refreshed the security cache and checked. But the issue still remains.Any help for this? Regards,Malin

Community, I have a problem when doing migration job of updating part description. when saving the excel file to text (tab delimited), i can see the double quote is added by the system. please see the attached. after I ran the migration job, i can see the part description is also updated with double quote text. see attached.I am wondering how to fix this issue when updating the part description. Thank you.

Like MKAISER (michael.kaiser@company.de)While I’m in the IFS maskSolution Manager > Security > Users > Create UserI will see IDENTITY and Database ID: with the formatting above.The System Info stays empty and the debug console don’t show anything.So any hints, in which View/Table I can find an PERSON_ID and DATABASE_ID in one row? Thanks a lot!All the best. Michael 

Can anyone tell me if the migration containers are the same for Cloud as they were for APPS10?

HiOne of our customers has a question in regards to the Migration job tool in excel. When we select a folder and highlight a migration job it opens. If we make any changes then reopen the file and connect it highlights the last migration job that was selected.  is there a way to change this so it doesn't highlight the last job? I’m assuming there may be a setting that needs to be selected? thanksGary 

Dear Community, @Jens (you're a DMM guru I've been told ;))When using in Cloud 22R1 the Data Migration Manager, deploying the object Suppliers [SUPPLIER_GENERAL_INFO], we face an error when the output container is deployed, during the deployment: "Field [ON_NEW] is mandatory for Deploy Definition Attributes and requires a value.”In the target table definition this field ON_NEW is not available. Has anyone seen this error before and has a solution to fix it? At the moment we can't deploy the data to the target environment.  

I’ve tried scheduling jobs but they aren’t running. When I force them I've found that they are showing in system monitoring that they are last ran in 1969. Is there a place I can check on this date / time? It’s on a test environment. 

Hello, I have run into a rather interesting challenge I can’t seem to solve.I create a Migration Job for the Excel addin, its purpose is mass change shop order dates.The Source Mapping was auto generated via the default settings on the migration job.When I Open the Migration Job in Excel and use the search and try to search with a date field, the search does not convert the query into the appropriate date logic. Is this something I need to somehow program into the Source Mapping itself?Migration Job:Excel IFS Search:Checking the Advanced Tab to validate and resulting error:Manually correcting this makes it work. This however is not great for the end user as they need to know to make this change when searching for dates and becomes more difficult to use.Looking forward to some possible solutions. 

Hi Team,    Anyone describe us that difference between FND MIG and Script for data migration in IFS .   why and when we use FND MIG and when we will use Script for Data Migration. 

Due to high workloads on our own IFS contacts they cannot provide resources for us. So I’m asking for some recommendation about PowerBI consutants around Scandinavia(We are currently in Norway). We need live data from our IFS DB to be manipulated on PowerBI. What we need is a basic training and implementation.  Hope you can help us :) 

Hello,When I migrate the suppliers agreements they automatically appear in the "Planned" status and I would like to migrate them all to the "Active" status without having to do any manual actions. The field OBJSTATE on template seems to have no effect on the status… Thank you for your answer.
