Hi -  I can create 2 data migration jobs to create a Purchase Order. - One to create the header and one to create the lines. I am looking to create a single Migrate Source Data DM Job to create header  and lines based on an imported table of data. So the stage 1 imported Data would be simplified as something like.. Supplier Part No Qty  Stage 2 to Create a PO for the distinct list of Suppliers and then create the attached lines Anyone think this is possible without custom code? Thanks for looking..  

Hello Ifs communityI have created migration job to load data in Part Based tab for sales price list page.Lines are inserted but when i want to deleted or updated it i get this errorAnd when i try to modify one column of this line insert through migration job i had this error message :but I have no problem deleting or modifying manually created lines. I only have this problem for lines loaded via data mig job.This is my migration job source mapping : thank you in advance for your help.  Regards.

Hi Community,When I try to modify the Project Manager, I’m encountering the below error message.So, found a alternative way and used to Modify the Project Manager manually from the Change Project Manager window. Now, I want to create a migration job to modify the PM.But unable to call the Project_API.Modify__ method, as it shoes the error “Current user doesnot have access to update project manager”.Can anyone help me out of this.Thanks/Thean Mozhi

Just starting out with DMM in IFS Cloud 22R2. I need to pull data from two tables into one target table. The documentation indicates how legacy tables are joined is important but gives no information on how to do this.Somehow this worked when there were two legacy tables with the same key simply by identifying the keys on the Legacy Table definitions.In this new situation, there are three tables involved and I need data from tables T1 & T3. T1 and T2 have the same key. I labeled them Key 1 & 2.T2 and T3 are linked by a different field. I tried labeling these as Key 3, but that did not work.Is this possible to do and if so how?  

Hi,We are currently upgrading from IFS to IFS Cloud.  We currently have a number of Excel migration jobs to support users in their daily work.I have overcome most of the issues encountered so far aside from the following:The Search functionality always throws a Malformed Request error.  Thereafter, nothing related to the Excel add-in works anymore without logging off/on again.Has anyone else encountered and found solutions to these issues? Thank you.  

When trying to create migration job for method  Invent_Part_Quantity_Util_API.Move_Part and it’s not possible to save the job but you get error :Error making attribute and references - IntfaceMethodList.ILLARGTYPE:Arguement VALIDATE_HU_STRUCT_POSITION_ has illegal type. Only datatype DATE VARCHAR2 NUMBER allowed Same with Inventory_part_in_stock_API.Issue_Part_with_PostingReason seems to be that there are boolean arguments and this is not supported in data migration. Is there a way around this issue?

Hello, I want to migrate my posted supplier invoices from 7.5 to the cloud version.To avoid double accounting of expenses, the expense postings must be replaced by an extra-accounting account,Is there any way of doing this migration that takes this requirement into account? When the Migration job is executed, error “ORA-20110: ContractItem.CONSALESVALUEREQD: The Sales Value must have a value since Calculation Type is Sales Value and Calculation Method is Fixed.” occurs.The purpose of this migration job is to allow us to insert data from the user defined table to contract_item_tab. A similar error has been reported here.However, the procedure name used in the current example is MIGRATE_SOURCE_DATA and not procedure INSERT_BY METHOD_NEW  IFS Aurena framework version: 22.1.10.20221205084017.0IFS Aurena client version: 22.1.10.20221205084017.0 Kindly assist in identifying the root cause of this error.

Hello Everybody, we are trying to run a fairly simple Mig Job,  we are getting the following error message Start time - 24-OCT-2025 09:26:59   HFI_ENG_PART_ACTIVEError in  select   - ORA-01445: cannot select ROWID from, or sample, a join view without a key-preserved table End time - 24-OCT-2025 09:27:00   HFI_ENG_PART_ACTIVE  Here is the Query we are running:  SELECT OBJID, OBJVERSION, 'DO', ROWID FROM ENG_PART_REVISION_REFERENCE WHERE State='Preliminary' ORA-01445: cannot select ROWID from, or sample, a join view without a key-preserved tableLength of statement : 121 characters Here below you will find a few screenshots of the Job itself, im fairly new at Mig Jobs and overall IFS, i have not been able to figure this out out. any help would be appreciated.   

I'd like to wish you all a very happy new year. I'm creating migration jobs for customer orders where I'd like them to retrieve as much information as possible automatically. At the moment, I only have 3 mandatory pieces of information to enter.   I'd like the order number to be entered automatically, based on the last existing order number. Is this possible? Where do I enter it? For the example, my last order number is "S23000005957".I'd like the order number to be automatically set to "S23000005958" when I run my job, and for the countdown to take place naturally. If I manually recreate an order, my number should be "S23000005959".

Hi All,I’m trying to import Person records and I get this error:READ ONLY GRANTS FOR IFSINFOThis was working yesterday, so I’m confused.I’m using the view PERSON_INFO_ALL.The Users have migrated for all these records and the Company User records migrated as well.Any Thoughts?Thanks, Rob

My Migration Job based on procedure “CREATE_TABLE_FROM_FILE” is not able to load data into the IC/TEMP table from a file holding more than 1 million records. Is there a limitation in IFS Cloud to handle the number of records during Data Migration?

Hi,There is a migration job to create or update suppliers. We want to add ‘30’ prefix for the supplier id if the the supplier is a new supplier. I would like to know how we can do this.  we tried to get next supplier id and add ‘30’ prefix in the Method  List attribute as below. but it didn’t work.Thanks,Sachini

Hello,We are working on data migrations of a 21R2 customer using the smart data manager. We have first started working with CUSTOMER_INFO and CUSTOMER_INFO_OUR_ID which has a parent-child relationship, both objects are in scope and target definition tables are also created.Our next step is to add the data in to the input container in "Mapping Legacy Tables To Migration Object” window. When we click on "Mapping Detail [Options]” > “Add into Input Container” we get the below error.   We investigated and found out the issue is triggered by the primary key/s of CUSTOMER_INFO_OUR_ID. Default values are empty. Please let us know what we are doing wrong here?

hi All,I can insert or update the schedule in Employee schedule from IFS client , but I can only insert a record in WORK_SCHED_ASSIGN using DMM and update will give an error at the deployment container.My requirement is to use DMM tool to update the schedule from C to B in below IFS window. the CSV file is attached and it looks like : at the deployment container I get below error and the record did not get updated.Method NEW failed : ORA-20110: WorkSchedAssign.INSOVERLAP: Overlapping date intervals. Has anyone used DMM tool to update schedule in WORK_SCHED_ASSIGN?Does anyone know why I am getting below error and how to resolve this?Or is this a limitation in DMM? Thank you! 

Hello;        I’m new to IFS & I’m quite surprised at the difficulty there is in changing a unit of measure. I’m a designer, & a portion of my former company was acquired by another who uses IFS. In the process there was a lubricant that got transferred & the unit of measurement was a pail. I’m not sure what the correct unit is but that wasn’t the unit it was supposed to be. Instead of being able to correct the unit, my main division of the company is saying the only thing we can do is create a new part no. with the correct unit of measure. This lubricant is used all over the place in 103 boms & 93 drawings which would have to be changed. Is this a limitation with IFS, & if it is, why would it be. I believe with our former system using CMS, we would have just revised the unit, & been done with it. I should add, it has already been used which seems to make it more of an issue.Thanks for any input in advance. SonDrum

Hello everyone,I'm trying to migrate customer orders and customer order lines. Everything's working fine, no problem. However, I'm trying to migrate the CODE_C of the lines using another job for pre_accounting, and retrieving the pre_accounting_id of a line, but I get an error I don't understand: ORA-20111: Site.NOTEXIST2: The Site object does not exist.Strange, because in the job, this indication does not appear, and only the pre_accounting_id seems mandatory.   How can I make these jobs work easily?
