Hi – can anyone tell me if MRP will trigger purchase requisitions for status 5 parts that are showing inventory below safety stock?

I’m not sure what you meant by status 5 parts.

But yes MRP creates supplies (PRs for purchase parts) including the Safety Stock. If User needs to maintain the Safety stock from MRP run date User can enable the ‘Plan Safety Stock Receipt on MRP run date’ check in Perform MRP dialog.

Here we have Part status 5 means ‘Supply Hold Due to Pending Changes’.

Also, on which screen do we enable ‘Plan Safety Stock Receipt on MRP run date’ check in Perform MRP dialog. 

If possible can you attach snip.

Hi @Vchandna ,

 

You would check the checkbox on the Perform Site MRP dialog box or if you are running a nightly background job you could check the checkbox on the Event Action.
