Buying (Procurement, Demand Planner, ASC, SRM)

HalloCan somebody help me.We have purchase orders from one site to another (two different companies) and everything is set up for intercompany but if I release a purchase order without having a customer order it does not transfer the order via intercompany. The demand code is “inventory order” and I can not change that. If I start with a customer order everything works perfect. But if I order parts into stock it doesn’t open up an order on the supplier site :-(. Does anybody has an idea what is missing? Thanks for your help.Judith

Does anyone know of a way to temporarily prevent receipting of POs. We require a period of non-transactions while other processes are being undertaken. We would like to prevent receipting POs during that period.We are using Apps 9, but I guess it will be the same logic as for Apps 10

Those of you who are actively managing subcon work in IFS; have you figured out a way to control the release of PR’s upon release of a shop order? Our subcon PR’s release the moment a Shop order is created, however the subcon portion on a routing may not come up for a week or two. Is there a way to control the release/unrelease of the subcon on the operation no?  I’m guessing it might have something to do with Outside OP Supply Type, but I am not sure you can stop it by changing it. Thanks.

Is there a conference coming for IFS users to participate?

I am working for a customer that creates a request for quotation for most purchases.  IFS Cloud does not support capturing charges the same as on a purchase order on the order quotation or the purchase requisition. Has anyone experienced this and how did you overcome? ThanksRichard 

Hi All,I am running a flow on a situation where company A is purching a rental asset from the company B. In that case in the Company A there is a PO in the part lines tab to purchase the asset with the ownership “Company Rental Asset”.Upon releasing and sending the PO. Inter company CO is getting created in the supply site which is Company B in my example.But this Customer order line state the ownership “Company Owned” not “Company Rental Assets”. If the demand is coming from “Company Rental Asset” then the supply should also be in “Company Rental Asset” is it? Seems other line data is coming from the interco PO line but not the ownership. Is there a setting known to anyone to control this be

I am setting up automatic order processing where I want to automate the steps from releasing the PR and up to a released PO.Found that when automatic order processing is handling the PR, it automatically creates one PO per line.If I do it manually (select lines, release and convert to PO) the lines are merged into one PO.There are a lot of smart people here, can aynone figure out why?And even better, find a workaround. I don’t want to send single line PO’s to suppliers.I’m on 25R2.

My customer is using the Self-service Procurement and the Punch out functionality. The customer needs to do some extra stuff when each cart line is created. This is solved by a custom event which is posting a background job, which is running some logic doing the extra stuff.The above works fine when you add parts to the cart from the catalog. Each created cart line, creates a background job by the event. But, when using the Punch out, the background job ending upp in error: “FndUser does not exist”. Looking at the background job you can see that there is no user added inte “Fnd User”-field. To me this means that the session that creates the cart line (from the Punch out), and at the end also creating the background job by the event, is some other user. I don’t know the logic behind the Punch out-integration, but it seems like cart line is created by a “ghost” user, at least not normal Fnd users. Can anyone bring some light over the Punch out-integration and maybe expla

Hello!Does anyone know if there is a change in Cloud from apps9 in the behaviour on Purchase Order Confirmation Reminders? In apps9 the PO is updated on the Order history with date for the sent reminder but in cloud there seems to be a gap where the reminder is sent correctly but it never updates the PO history.Is this correct bahavior from Cloud or a bug? Best RegardsEmma

When creating ‘kitting labels” for shop order that is reserved the only labels that print out are supply type ‘Inventory Order’.  Why will the supply type ‘Project Invenotry’ not print for stockroom to PICK all of the reserved material?  We don’t have this problem in APP9 but soon going to CLOUD 24.2 in few months.

Has anyone found a way around editing PO lines in the Purchase Order Lines window?I specifically want to update the Planned Receipt Date of the line.I enabled the edit using the page designer but the save option is not enabled after the edit.  

Hi I am facing an issue where as a business policy, procurement team always requires a purchase requisition and authorization is carried out on the purchase requisition level.Issue comes when I am running the Inter company flow.I am using the “Int Purch Direct” and “Int Purch Trans” flows, upon releasing the customer order, pegged purchase order will be created instead of purchase requisition.  Is there a way that I can create a purchase requisition instead of purchase order?I have set up the default supply option as requisition in the Inventory part planning data as well.  But for Purch Order Direct and Purch Order Trans flows, Purcase requisition

Hello All,  Working on projects within IFS, an order has been rasied, receipted and fully invoiced. However it was a larger order and three invoices matched.  We generated unfinished activities and can see there is a penny rounding error and the PO will need amending.  The only way I can see to correct this is to un-receipt the very small difference, to allow a purchase order change order to be created so that the PO quantitiy matches the invoiced quanitty shown below. This is a huge amount of effort just to remove a penny to close a project, does anyone know a better process?

When we go into the Change order line 2 has been cancelled but it has been linked to Activities and when we try to update the Purchase order we get this message. We have tried lots of options to cancel the change order but it’s just stuck.We just want to cancel the change order and Cancel the 2nd line on the purchase order 

Hi all, I met an issue for triggering a user interaction workflow when clicking Ok button of Order Address Dialog. It is an easy workflow which I attached it.Reproduce steps:Click Operations-> Single Occurrence Address Check Single Occurrence. Click pencil edit button Modify Delivery Address with some not quiet correct address, click OK Click OK for Order Address then error pops up quiet often though not every time. Or the page was stuck in Order Address Dialog.Two scenarios I met:Page was stuck

To use the self-service procurement portal, I want to navigate from the Project Definition to the materials&Services to open the procurement portal from there. Which LTU allows me to perform these actions?If I only assign the EMP_SELF_SERV_PROC_LTU to a user, I cannot first go to my project to open the materials and services menu. I want to open the procurement portal from that activity. What is the solution for this? 

Hi,When using expressorders (order code 5) - Is there in IFS Cloud (25R1) a way to ensure that all lines on a purchase requisition are converted to PO lines before the order is printed / sent out, even if the PR lines are authorized at different points of time?We have got this to work in IFS 10, but in IFS Cloud the first line is printed / sent out as soon as it has been converted.Thanks in advance!JohanNB! Hello all, It is possible de define Price effecctive date (either Order date or Receipt date) at the level of the supplier. Do you have an idea if it is not possible to change this at the lvel of purchase part or purchase order line? I have a client who asked for it Thanks

Hello Guys Customer currently faces a problem that after MRP run, new supplier schedule with additional Lines will be created and connected to the PO but no further Line No / Release No will be created on the Purchase Order. Did someone face the same problem or know what could be the solution?Could it be because of the Cumulative Quantity?  

Date only changes within a purchase order is triggering re-authorisation. We have made changes to the PO authorisation rules and tested but no matter which boxes are ticked and options selected in the PO authorisation rules we need to re-authorise.Does anyone know how to fix this?
