I am getting above error when trying to login on app9. In the previous occurrence where I got the same error, I restored both APP and DB servers with an image backup. After restoring it worked for about 4 months and I am getting the error again.

Hi All, Anyone know on how to change default date format on IFS Cloud. Because the date format is not the same with PC local date format, causing confusion when reading date 03/01/2024 is 3rd January or 1st March of 2024. Have been looking around for solution, but found no answer.  Thanks.

We are investigating how we can use Project forecasting in a way to follow up the forecasted total cost of a project (activity).  Now, we have entered estimates for all activities.  Planned cost driver: Estimated Cost Progress method: Manual Our idea is to have the estimated cost as the initial EAC. BUT if the actual costs exceed the EAC we would like the actual cost in relation to the manually entered cost progress to be calculated as the EAC.  Example 1:  Estimated cost = 1000 USD Actual cost = 1500 USD Cost progress = 100% This would lead to EAC = 1500 USD Example 2:  Estimated cost = 1000 USD Actual cost = 1500 USD Cost progress = 50% This would lead to EAC = 3000 USD This is definately not how IFS is designed. But whatever alternative we try out, we end up with the estimated cost of 1000 USD either as the ETC or the EAC of the budget.  With the forecast option “EAC Re

Hi,In the Maintenance Module in IFS10, PM Action, we will use the PM Group Id and Merge function frequently. What are the triggers that determines if there will be more than one Work Task?Normally the merge function would give you one Work Task with several steps. But there are exceptions. I have tried with different intervals; that generates more than one Work Task (and not all as steps on one Work Task)I have also tried different work task templates, maintenance org., priority, actions…Question is which settings would always generate a new (an additional) work task when we use the Merge function on a PM Action? kind regardsChristian

Hi,  When a Serial Objects (Ownership: Company Rental Asset) position is ‘In Inventory’ what is the correct process for assigning that SO with a superior structure (‘Belongs to Object’) such as maybe a group, or a department (Functional Object)?Steps I have followed so far:Create Inventory Part (serial tracked) Receive Inventory Part (via NREC or PO) Ownership: CRA Make Part Serial ‘Maintenance Aware’ This creates the Serial Object with the Serial No matching the Inventory Part in Stock record. At this point, the Serial Objects position is ‘In Inventory’ Im therefore unable to select a ‘Belongs to Object’ as you receive the error stating its not possible due to the position being ‘In Inventory’If I start the creation at the Serial Object stage, entering the Part No and Serial No, im able to select a Belongs to Object therefore placing the Serial Object within a Functi

How do I update my sales part base price from costing

We are an Apps 8 user and already use the Project Management module, including the WBS element.  However, at this time we do not utilise the CBS element and I have struggled to work out how to utilise this alongside the WBS to any real advantage.  Are there any good papers/user guides/experiences out there that might assist?  The on-line Help files aren’t helping much.Thanks!

Hi,We are having work instructions as attachments to the PM’s and Work Orders/Tasks. These attachments should be printed together with the Work Order. Is it possible with IFS App 10 standard to print Work Orders with attachments in same operation?

We just completed our first physical inventory in IFS 10. When I created a count report, I realized that it only had 640 inventory part numbers. Our system actually has 1399 part numbers. The result was that I had physical counts and no line to report them to. I discovered that lots of parts had been created with someone clicking the “Cycle Counting” box. Last night I did a mass update to change everything to countable. However, this morning, the new count report still only has 640 items. What am I missing?
