Hi,We are having work instructions as attachments to the PM’s and Work Orders/Tasks. These attachments should be printed together with the Work Order. Is it possible with IFS App 10 standard to print Work Orders with attachments in same operation?

Hi, we recently updated to 23R1 and noticed that we are not longer allowed to put resource demand across maintenance organizations.  The resource has to be connected to the same organization as the workask is assigned to. Otherwise the error message “Resource JOHAN does not have valid Maintenance/Service specific Site Settings defined.”” shows up. Why is that changed? Our process was built after the possibility to put demands across organizations. If a planner needs to borrow 1 resource from another organization to work with her/his worktask it is not possible without changing the worktasks organization or create a new work task? 

Hello,I’m trying to understand why the map position that we have loaded into the GIS Map for our assets is not pulling across into the Equipment Object Navigator. In the example below, you can see we’ve mapped a turbine: This is linked to the equipment object 2795. This is correct. If you then go to the Equipment Object Navigator… there doesn’t appear to be any reference to this connection. I would expect to see the location of the object loaded…There should be a dot loaded on the screen below I’d have thought.

Once an inventoried material is added to either Serial Object or Functional Object under the Spare Parts tab, how do you then select that material when you are in a Work Order under the Materials tab?

Hi all,Faced with error creating a work task from template: jtTask.insert: field [APPOINTMENT_REQUIRED] in Work Task may not be specified for new objects.Are there ideas how to fix it?I tested the same action on the Demo environment - no errors.IFS 25R1. 

I cannot isolate why some tasks that are completed in mWO are not updating the Work Task to Work Done status. In the example below, we have a 2-task work order, with each task having 1specified person resource demand (no other demands). Each task was assigned to the same resource as the demand, and then transferred to mobile. Task was completed in mWO, no outstanding steps or materials, etc., then returned. Reviewing the task shows the following results:  

I don’t know if I don’t understand the process or there’s a bug, but when I set up SFM for a simple function such as exhaust in the example of this procedure with two causes for the same component, it acts really weird:It duplicated one of the causes when there are two different ones set up.  (I even redid them from scratch to make sure I didn’t mess up) When you select a template that has two causes for one component, it highlights both, but only brings in the one template that applies to both. Where do the values such as Function, Type, Cause, and Component end up on the work order/Work Task?  These are valuable KPIs.Attached is the write up for a customer I’m working on.  They really want to use SFM.@Mayura Wasantha - I know you’re crazy busy, but who can help me with this?

When you activated Supplier Warranty on the Work Order before you book cost (time,material) on the Work Task the additional Sales Lines will be created and works fine.But when you want activated the Supplier Warranty, later into the proces when already cost are booked like time & material, there will be No additional Sales Lines created.Is there a possibilty to add Supplier Warranty when the Work Order/Work Task is on the status Work Done and aslo create the additional Sales Lines on IFS Cloud 24.2.3

As per IFS documentation If the check box** Enable Downtime** selected for a work type category, when a work task with a work type with that work type category is setting to WorkDone state, a dialog will popup to enter down time information for the actual object of the work task. By default this will not be enabled for any work type category. User can enable this only for the required work type categories. If downtime tracking is not required should not enable this checbox on any work type category. I tested this functionality with a work type category =Preventive but no dialog popped up  as described in IFS documentation . Any other configuration is required ?

PM Maintenance Plan Due Date calculation is NOT CLEAR.PM Maintenance plan, next planned value is calculated based on , either(a) The Last Measurement at Maintenance(b) The Predicted Value at Maintenancewhen performed Value Base is YES. The calculation for Planned value is clear using 2 fomulars, but it is not clear how the Due date is calculated.It says, LENEAR REGRESSION is used to calculate the Due Dates of the maintenance plan based on the planned value.we did some testing using some measurements created but linear graph we drawn using Ms.Excel is not matching with the maintenance plan due dates.Does anyone of you know how the Due date is calculated using LENEAR REGRESSION.

Hi, We’re trying to understand how the replacements by PM actions works. Is there any good documentation on it? Couldn’t find it. We’re wondering if it will still work if the PMs that would be replaced are on different dates. Do you need to ensure that if PM_1_Yearly is replaced by PM_2_Yearly,  will it do that if PM_1 and PM_2 have different dates? Thanks

Hello,I have noticed that six work orders are being generated every other day by a scheduler, and while the jobs and templates reference a PM, the maintenance plan itself does not contain such a work order. The concept of Rule ID is being utilized. Can anyone provide insight into the specific logic behind this situation?Your help is greatly appreciated.
