Hi @susantha ,

Similar issue has been fixed in APP9 UPD6.
Solution ID:245514  ( Title: Error when you trying to cancel a mixed payment transaction)

I have quoted following information for your reference:

Symptom:
Cash Account 'XXX' is connected to different Payment Institute that Cash Account 'XXX'.

Test Plan:

Cash Account Set Up
Mixed payment is created using cash Account CASH - connected to Payment Institute CASH
Cash Account AAA connected to Payment Institute AAA
Cash Account BANK connected to Payment Institute BANK

01. Enter new Mixed Payment  (i.e. cash account CASH )and register 5 Lump Sum Lines with Payment Transaction Type ‘ Cash Transfer’.
1st Cash Transfer - with Counter Cash Account AAA & Cash Transfer Method = Cash Transaction
2nd Cash Transfer - with Counter Cash Account BANK  and Cash Transfer Method = Interim Posting
3rd -5th Cash Transfers - with Counter Cash Account AAA & Cash Transfer Method = Cash Transaction
02. Enter the  6th Lump Sum Line with Payment Transaction Type ‘Direct Cash Payment’.

03. Approve the Mixed Payment.

04. Try to Cancel the Mixed Payment. You’ll get the error message

Note : TRANS_IDs in the PAYMENT_TRANSACTION_TAB for the 5th Lump Sum line will be 0 & 10. For the 6th Lump Sum line it will be 5 (Trans ID starts from 0).

Error - IFS Applications
---------------------------
Cash Account 'CASH' is connected to different Payment Institute that Cash Account ‘AAA'.

[OK]

Solution:
It should be possible to cancel the mixed payment transaction without any issue. Correction will only apply to mixed payment as it is not possible to cancel an approved cash box.

Hope the above information will help you to find a solution.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Nethmini
