Hi, we have been using aurena tech portals for 7-8 months in apps 10 now. 

However, our utilization rate is too low. There are a few reasons for that:

  • we need to use work task assignments, not applicable for parts of our org.
  • the solution requires online connection
  • UI is a bit tiny on phone size devices (font etc)

what would you recommend us going forward? Aurena native? Optimizing our tech portal? Partner solutions?

If you have strong Offline requirements then MWO is the only answer.  The same answer goes obviously for you second problem there with the tiny screensize. MWO is or the Native Application is optimized for the mobile experience. 

However even though it is possible to handle task execution without Assignments this is really what it has been designed for. I think this deserves a deeper conversation around the benefits that you could realize through managing execution through assignments.
