in V15.4 the manager workbench seems to be no more available as a separate application. Does this module “still availble “and we need to log to the employee portal to have the same functionalities ?

Per the information I received, the Manager Workbench was retired with the release v15.4.

It seems that we can add a workbench manager portal (also in the 15.4SU2) to a mobile user.

Then, he can access to the back office to see for example the calendar onto the homepage with his service order.

That’s fit some customer needs especially for the calendar view (that we don’t have in mobileedge) 

 


Could we do that ? : Give access to the portal workbench manager for a mobile user ?

Hi Anthony,

Manager Workbench is a discontinued product. Though it appears in the list of portals, it should not be visible or selected. There is an .exe installer for managers workbench supplied with Alliance, the only purpose it serves officially is providing the basis for the new Dispatch Console in the Web Employee Portal.  Please see:

The Manager Workbench will be removed from the list of portals per R&D so we can not advise giving access to manager workbench to anyone as a portal.
