Users not receiving e-mails during password initialization

A client reported earlier this week that during password initialization, the user was not receiving an e-mail confirmation of the password change.  I found that the system will only send an e-mail to the user if the “Show password on Password Initialization” check box is un-checked in the “Security SOX” module.
